Dear Families,

It was great to see baseball back on the diamond over the past week!  Our players were excited to return to the field and play ball.  Across all divisions there were outstanding games played and positive sportsmanship exhibited.  As we continue to move through our second week of games, Millbury Little League would like to remind families of the following protocols to ensure the safety of our players, coaches, and spectators.  Our goal this season is to continuously monitor our practices in order to adjust protocols as needed.

In addition to the reminders for spectators, Millbury Little League has also reviewed practices with all coaches to add and adjust as needed.  Again, our approach will be to continue this practice throughout the season.

All Washington Street Games:

  • The player areas have been expanded and clearly marked by orange fencing.  We urge all spectators, including parents and players of other teams, to refrain from entering or standing near the players only area.

  • Millbury Little League has requested that the town remove the metal bleachers to ensure spectators adhere to social distancing guidelines.

  • Spectators are encouraged to watch games from the outfield and to ensure proper social distancing guidelines of 6ft. between families.  As there are no longer bleachers available, spectators may want to bring a collapsible chair.

On behalf of our players we appreciate all our families and other spectators adhering to the items above and using their judgement while attending games.  Strictly adhering to these guidelines will ensure our players will be able to continue their season in the weeks ahead.
